Walter Comeaux

Walter L. Comeaux is the President of Commerce Title & Abstract Company. He practices exclusively as a real estate attorney and has been a Louisiana licensed title insurance agent for over 25 years. A native of  Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he received his B.A. degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. degree from Loyola University School of Law. Mr. Comeaux was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Louisiana and all inferior courts, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Mr. Comeaux has presented lectures in connection with continuing education for attorneys at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center Annual Real Estate Symposium and has also qualified as an expert in the 19th Judicial Court by Judge Robert Downing. Being approved by the Louisiana Real Estate Commission and the Greater Baton Rouge Board of Realtors, he also provides continuing education for licensed real estate agents.

Some of Mr. Comeaux's memberships and Associations include: Louisiana State Bar Association (Section of Real Property), Baton Rouge Bar Association, American Bar Association (Probate and Real Property Section). Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Louisiana State Bar Foundation, The Louisiana Land Title Association, The Baton Rouge Mortgage Bankers Association, The Louisiana Mortgage Bankers Association, The Baton Rouge Board of Realtors, The Livingston Board of Realtors, and finally The Livingston Board of Contractors
